“ This place is gooooooood. The crab miso soup is incredible, but the main character is all the sushi options, they have so many. Fresh fish for sure. Not the cheapest sushi in town but you definitely get what you pay for. ”
“ Enjoyed a couples dinner here -- they have valet parking and we were seated for our reservation right away. The place is cozy and the tables are packed in. The casual vibe is a converted office or even home with high ceilings. The staff is friendly and were sporting fun sushi themed t shirts. The tuna appetizer with potato cake was terrific as were our rolls and nigiri. Fresh, tasty and well portioned. I especially liked my blue crab and salmon belly. Quick tea and waters refills too. The only wrinkle was premium + menu prices. ”
“ Where have I been all these years? I have been to so many sushi spots on Ventura but somehow I never came here until earlier today. My husband and I were craving sushi and we happened to be near Iroha and decided to give it a try. We walked in and were greeted by a welcoming hostess. Once seated our waitress stopped by and greeted us took our order for drinks. We ordered a few rolls by starting with a rainbow roll (tuna inside) OMG that first taste was amazing. The fish was so fresh and delicious. It was so good that o had to order another one at the end of our meal. So we started with rainbow and ended with rainbow. Yummmm. The other rolls were also fresh and delicious. I liked it that they didn't use a lot of rice, you can taste the fish much better. And also they didn't use heavy sauces like other places. They have indoor seating and patio seating. Overall we had a lovely and amazing dinner and can't wait to come back. ”
“ One of my top favorite sushi spots in LA. The quality is top tier and the flavors of the special role are fantastic. we sat at the sushi bar and had very friendly service from the sushi chefs who were very kind and answered a lot of our questions. The pink panther roll is fantastic! The ponzu sauce is extremely balanced and the albacore is top tier. The Hamapeno (yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno) is also a favorite. Perfectly spice and well served with ponzu sauce. Our third favorite was the Marlon roll. The crispy onion adds such a new balanced flavor. We also got the creamy rock shrimp but that was just ok. We will pass on that next time and just get more rolls. The ambience is also great for a date night ! ”
“ I'm so glad my buddy suggested Iroha Sushi of Tokyo. I'd been meaning to try this place for a while, and it didn't disappoint! From the outside, it looks like a small spot, but once you step inside, it's surprisingly spacious. Their menu is loaded with variety--whether you're into chicken, meat, or raw fish, they've got something for you. Perfect for non-fish eaters too! As for the sushi, it was solid, and I'll definitely be coming back. The highlight, though? The chef whipped up a spicy habanero ponzu sauce for us, and let me tell you, it was insanely hot and out-of-this-world delicious. If you're in the area, give this place a shot. Your taste buds will thank you! ”
“ Everytime I return, I am impressed. All the staff are very sweet. I ended up getting my new favorites which include the PK Roll & the North West roll. I couldn't resist getting my usuals that included: -Amaebi (Raw Sweet Shrimp) -Uni (Sea Urchin) Soooooooooo goooood! -Engawa (Halibut fin) If they have in stock...MUST GET! -G. Eye Syapper (One of our favs) Nom...nom...nom... No wait on a Friday at 6:30pm for a datenight. ”
“ In a region where sushi restaurants are abundant, Iroha Sushi has somethings going for it. I came in a couple weeks ago with a friend and we had a good experience. The exterior and interior are pretty nice and have some character. Seating options include inside seating and a couple covered patios. To add some differentiation to the usual sushi they have some items that I haven't seen at other sushi restaurants. To name a few they have some ramens available, "burgers", and even lamb chops. We ordered some sake and beer to go along with the following and enjoyed everything for the most part. Sunomono Salad (cucumber salad) Spicy Tuna on Crispy Sushi Rice Cake Hamapeno: thinly sliced yellowtail with sliced jalapenos and a special sauce Philly Roll - Salmon, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, smelt egg Sashimi Combination (came with a salad, miso soup and rice) - Really enjoyed the dressing on the green salad and the miso soup was great with lots of seaweed and tofu. Service was pretty good and our server was on top of things. Everything came out promptly. Everything was pretty good but nothing stuck out yet on this first visit. The sashimi was a bit too thick for my friend but I thought it was cut pretty similarly to other restaurants. Prices are pretty equal to other sushi restaurants and given the times. Parking options include valet and street. ”
“ Really yummy Sushi place! Apparently they are also known for their spicy miso broth - who knew? I tried the regular miso soup, the Special #4 Sushi (spicy shrimp on top of Sushi rice wrapped in tuna), the green beans, and the Miso Black cod entree. Miso soup was delicious, served at just the right temperature with lots of umami flavor. The Special #4 was really delicious. Shrimp was perfectly seasoned and the sliced tuna was so fresh. The creamy, spicy shrimp balanced well with the neutral flavored tuna. Green beans were good, served in a nice brown garlicky sauce. I loved the black miso cod. Served with Japanese mushrooms. The cod was so flaky and the miso gave it a nice bite. Definitely a busy restaurant but the service was still really good despite that. All of our food came out pretty quick and the waitress was super friendly. I liked the design of the restaurant, mostly wooden interior and I like how it's hidden down a driveway out of sight. I would totally come back for another family dinner. ”
